The forming process of flux-cored welding wire is a key quality point in the welding wire manufacturing process. The forming process is to roll the steel strip into shape and add mixed powder to make a semi-finished product of flux-cored welding wire.
The main components of the forming machine include: equipment base, steel belt oiling, 8 sets of vertical roller stands, 7 sets of horizontal roller stands, powder feeder, silo, motor and transmission mechanism, control system, etc. According to customer product differences, the equipment structure will be different.

Production parameters of stainless steel flux cored wire 1. Steel strip material: 304, 410, 430 and other stainless steel materials.
2. Steel strip size: 0.4mmX10mm, 0.3mmX10mm, or other customized sizes.
3. The normal working speed of steel belt import is ≥60 meters/min.
4. Production line design capacity: 900 tons/year.
Calculation basis: Stainless steel strip 0.4mmX10mm, 24-hour system.
5. Filling rate accuracy is ±0.3 (single powder detection with bulk density greater than 1.5g/m³)
   
Carbon steel flux cored wire production parameters 1. Steel strip material: SPCC and other carbon steel materials.
2. Strip size: 1.0mmX14mm, 0.9mmX13.2mm, 0.8mX12mm or other customized sizes
3. The normal working speed of steel belt import is ≥90 m/min.
4. Production line design capacity: 4,000 tons/year.
Calculation basis: Based on carbon steel strip 1.0mmX 14mm, 24-hour system
Filling rate accuracy is ±0.3 (single powder detection with bulk density greater than 1.5g/m³)
   
Production parameters of flux cored wire for surfacing welding 1. Steel strip material: SPCC and other carbon steel materials.
2. Strip size: 0.5mmX16mm, 0.6mmX6mm or other customized sizes
3. The normal working speed and design capacity of the steel strip import are determined according to the specification of the surfacing product.
4. The filling rate accuracy is ±0.3 (single powder detection with bulk density greater than 1.5g/m³)

Steel belt oiler

1. Reduce roll wear, improve forming stability, and facilitate speed increase;
2. The precision oil pump controls the amount of oil applied and does not affect the deposited metal composition of the welding wire;
3. Special oil, very volatile, no residue, and will not increase the hydrogen content of the welding wire.

Roller stand

1. The roll stand is made of 45# forged steel as a whole, which has strong stability, high precision, and a solid and durable structure;
2. Equipped with a multi-directional roller fine-tuning device, the front and rear and up and down positions of the roller can be fine-tuned without stopping the equipment;
3. Equipped with digital dial and handwheel for easy operation and higher accuracy.

Belt powder adder

1. The powder feeding belt uses a non-joint belt;
2. Automatic belt tension compensation to prevent slipping;
3. Remove and install two screws to replace the belt, which takes a few minutes to complete;
4. The silo is heated, and it does not absorb moisture for the heat preservation of the medicine powder;
5. The optical fiber probe detects empty powder/powder shortage in the steel belt groove;
6. Display the filling amount online and alarm if it exceeds the set range;
7. The feeding gate is precisely adjusted and equipped with a locking device, which is stable, reliable, parameterized, and prevents misoperation. 8. The powder adding servo is linked to the steel belt speed, and the dual encoder is calibrated to compensate for the powder loss rate at different steel belt speeds through the powder adding speed curve.
